Description
Interacts with residents, obtains order for meal within correct diet order. Performs various tasks involved in the assembly, delivery and return of resident meals, trays and nourishment's. Assists in the preparation, portioning and service of food.
% Of Time Spent Principle Accountabilities:
1. Performs all aspects of food service tasks to enhance the dining experience of our guests. 20%
2. Serves guests in a restaurant style setting adhering to diet orders, appropriate menu and any restriction or allergies they may have. Confirms accuracy of orders. 15%
3. Conducts inventories and restocking of supplies in neighborhood kitchen areas according to established par levels. Follows all safe food handling guidelines to maintain the quality of food served. 20% .
4. Performs all sanitation duties including washing of dishes, trays, pots, pans, small wares, floor care, tables, chairs and carts within the department as well as trash removal in a timely manner. 10%
5. Assists in maintain a safe, clean and orderly work environment. Reports any unsafe equipment or working condition to supervisor. 10%
6. Maintains personal effectiveness through completion of all online educational programs to meet regulatory requirements, personal growth and development. Participates in area department and hospital goals that targets growth and development of the business and patient experience. 5%
7. Establishes a positive working relationship with residents, family members and fellow staff members. Maintains a professional appearance at all times in accordance with established department policies. 10%
8. Demonstrates dependability, adaptability, maturity and effective use of time. Adheres to posted scheduled hours, break times, and completes assignments with minimal supervision according to job task. 10%
Education
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience
1. High School Diploma or GED preferred. 2. Food service experience preferred. 3. On the job training provided.
