- Prepares food for trayline, salad bar or cafeteria line according to assignment, following all department and sanitation procedures.
- Prepares, loads, delivers, serves and retrieves trays (including Assisted Living Program) accurately and in a timely manner, following department procedures.
Makes corrections/substitutions as needed.
Cleans and sanitizes all assigned areas properly, including dining tables and chairs.
- Follows all food handling regulations, to include proper wrapping, labeling, dating, and storage of food.
- Maintains equipment and work area in a clean and sanitary manner, to include picking up, scraping, and washing soiled dishes, replenishing clean dishes, and removing trash.
Cleans refrigerators, freezers, tray delivering carts, dish machine, trash cans, fryers, grills, coffee makers, etc. properly according to assigned schedule.
-Cashiering for cafeteria, and handling payments.
Literacy and communication skills in English required.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must be able to lift up to 30 lb. and push cart weighing 300 lb.
Pleasant disposition and ability to work efficiently under pressure required.
Must be able to work as part of a team.
