This person would work every other weekend on evening and night shifts.
: Work as a team member under the guidance of Manager and Shift Coordinator to provide high quality customer service and food for patients.
: One year general restaurant or institutional kitchen experience preferred. Formal cooking education preferred.
DEMONSTRATED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
: English communication skills required. Ability to add, subtract, read and write required. Must be able to read price lists and recipes. Must be able to follow written instructions and menus. Understand importance of recognizing patient food allergies. Understand and apply HACCP principals in every aspect of work. Knowledge of culinary presentation. Adequate knife skills and knowledge of safe knife handling. Vary production amounts based on the fluctuating hospital census. Adhere to constraints regarding meal service. Maintain positive teamwork, communication and customer service required. Provide high quality customer service.
