The Pagliacci located in the Husky Den currently has an outstanding opportunity for a Pagliacci Supervisor
. This is an exciting career opportunity working in a fast-paced and fun environment for a qualified candidate with a minimum of one year of current, full service restaurant supervisory experience.

• Supervise contract-classified and student staff to ensure they work in accordance to franchise and department specifications
• Provide high-quality customer service to students, staff and guests of the University
• Inspect food for portion size, temperature, appearance and adherence to franchise and department specifications
• Inspect preparation and service areas to ensure that food safety and food handling policies are being followed
• Serve as a resource for employees, residents, conference guest and campus staff to ensure understanding of departmental procedures, policies, services, events and activities
• Monitor daily use of food, labor needs, and supplies to ensure that resources match anticipated customer volume
• Order food, merchandise and supplies to ensure that resources are available each day
• Maintain regular and frequent communication with employees to ensure employees know if they are meeting performance expectations
• Conduct annual performance evaluations and recommend disciplinary/corrective action when needed
• Monitor employee attendance to ensure that unplanned absences and tardiness is minimal. Address issues in a timely way. Plan and approve necessary overtime
• Approve leave requests as long as they do not compromise staffing or customer service
• Review new employee checklist to ensure that staff have participated in orientation and required training
• Prepare work schedules that meet service needs and provide time for staff to attend required training
• Provide regular group and individual staff training sessions to ensure consistency of procedures, customer service, food production, sanitation, point of sale software and internal regulations
• Develop, maintain, administer, track, and submit accurate accounting records for proper control and management of money, food labor, supplies, and other costs. Ensure that proper documentation is available
• Responsible for opening and closing of cash registers, cash logs and preparing cash for armored transport pickup
• Requisition routine repairs and report major repair needs
• Respond to catering requests
• Perform other related duties or responsibilities as required
