The Senior Manager, Construction Projects reports to the Senior Director, Construction and works with franchisees and internal resources to develop scopes of work and budgets for company and franchise construction and remodeling projects.
Manage construction of new restaurants 10-15 including BKL projects
Manage 100 New Image remodels
Works with franchisees, internal personnel and consultants as a consultant and in managing project teams
Creates scopes of work, budgets, monitors and manages project costs
Hires and manages contractors, consultants and suppliers for specific projects.
Responsible for managing schedule and quality of projects
Bachelor's Degree in related field required
Registration as an architect, engineer or general contractor preferred
Six-Sigma or other process improvement theories are a strong plus
5-7 years in construction management, architecture or engineering preferably in a corporate environment
CPM (Certified Project Manager) preferred
Demonstrates working knowledge of building components and systems, building codes, ADA compliance and cost estimating for remodel and new restaurant construction
Demonstrates strong technical and project management skills based on construction industry experience to effectively manage multiple projects
Demonstrates intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications to create documents, deliver presentations, and analyze data
Demonstrates effective communication skills in influencing and consensus building used with working with franchisees and on internal projects
