Profile

The position is responsible for ensuring that the Accounts Payable system is properly maintained and that all controls are in place to comply with Company policies and federal and state tax regulations. The Manager is responsible for the A/P Department processing of invoices accurately, timely and in compliance with Company policy; processing and auditing of T&E expense reports; issuing and maintaing controls of purchasing cards and corporate credit cards; and enforcing compliance with Company and tax requirements. This position makes decisions for the department, with guidance from the Director for unusual issues.
Coordinate, control and analyze the processing of disbursements to ensure accurate, timely payment and accurate presentation of financial results. Includes monitoring compliance with corporate policies and safeguarding the integrity of the Accounts Payable system as well as establishment and review of metrics for the A/P area.
Develop and enforce policies and procedures to provide proper controls and increase the department's efficiency, including updates to service catalog revisions of department SOPs.
Coordinate with the IT group in order to develop solutions and system enhancements to increase accuracy, efficiencies and effectiveness of the processes.
Manage and supply guidance to the A/P staff.
Coordinate the input, preparation and timely filing of 1099 reporting to the IRS on an annual basis.
Respond to requests from internal and external audit and senior management.
Requirements/Qualifications

Finance or Accounting degree with 4 – 6 years of experience
·
Knowledge of SAP to process transactions, run reports and report financial results.
·
Good communication and interpersonal skills in order to serve our customers -- vendors, restaurant personnel, corporate employees and others.
·
A degree in finance or a business related field to perform the financial functions.
·
Organizational skills and decision-making skills in order to run a department
·
Advanced knowledge of Excel to prepare analyses.
·
Advanced knowledge of Word for communication to outside customers.
