The Radisson Hotel Salt Lake City Downtown is currently seeking a talented and motivated Executive Chef. Our beautiful hotel is located in the heart of downtown, just minutes from Energy Solutions Arena and Temple Square. The property boasts a newly renovated restaurant, Copper Canyon Grill House & Tavern, a lounge, our Coffee & News outlet, room service outlet, and 15,000 sq feet of meeting space for group meetings, events & parties.
The Executive Chef works closely with others in the organization to ensure that all food & beverage meets Radisson standards and client specifications. Ensures 100% guest satisfaction by adhering to Radisson's Yes I Can! philosophy. Implements and maintains all control systems within the kitchen. Understands business financials, completes monthly P&L analysis and variance reporting. Must have the ability to effectively lead the culinary team; provide training at hire and ongoing at regular intervals as required; implement organized systems processes; achieve hotel financial goals; build morale while developing a skilled culinary team; and work hands-on in the Kitchen. The Executive Chef is responsible for the entire culinary operation, including production for all outlets and catered functions.
Candidates must have a proven track record of success; ideally within a hotel or other large-operation setting.
Requirement include, but are not limited to:
REQUIRED: Degree from a recognized culinary school and/or college
REQUIRED: 3 years of previous work experience as an Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef
Must have the ability to attract, hire and retain employees
Must have the ability to supervise and develop employees
Must demonstrate understanding of business financials
Must understand and employ culinary management best practices
