The Manager, Consumer Insights is a key figure within the Marketing department’s Consumer Insights team and is responsible for providing critical information that will help drive **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Corporation’s marketing strategy both now and in the future. Responsibilities include managing the execution of consumer learning plans, synthesizing large amounts of data, and managing relationships with research vendors and other external partners. This person is expected to be a high potential leader with solid analytical skills and a strong data-driven orientation. The position reports into the Sr. Director, Consumer Insights and will have frequent interaction with the Market Intelligence and Global Innovation teams, as well as the Global Chief Marketing Officer.
Job Overview:
Design, recommend and fully manage the execution of comprehensive consumer and/or customer learning plans.
Synthesize research data from multiple data sources and translate them into concise insights.
Work in close partnership with internal cross-functional teams, external market research vendors and the advertising agency.
Foster relationships with research vendors to ensure support of research goals, getting the greatest possible value from research investment.
Supply information about consumer, food and competition with a viewpoint of their implications.
Manage team's internal analytic tools
Min. 4 years of experience required in Consumer Insights/Market Research role within CPG, Foodservice or market research agency.
Strong analytical skills - ability to identify opportunities, formulate objectives and craft a plan with supervision.
Excellent communication skills: ability to share information clearly and concisely.
Strong teamwork skills: ability to support cross-functional teams.
Solid organizing skills - capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Demonstrate a curiosity and passion for the restaurant/food industry.
Strong passion for the consumer.
Bachelor's Degree Required.
Must be willing and able to travel 10-15% of the time.
