The Patient Food Service Lead manages Patient Care activities. These include providing direction and guidance for supervision, and direction of patient service employees, assisting with hiring and training new employees, monitoring employees activities and performance and providing constructive feedback, conducting staff meeting and in-services on assigned topics, assisting with opening and closing the department, maintaining the cleanliness and food safety, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of meal service, maintaining adequate supplies of formula by working closely with the formula technician to establish appropriate par levels for the most needed formulas and ordering correct type and amount in a timely manner.
Qualifications: High school graduate plus a minimum of ten years food service experience in acute care, preferably in pediatric setting. Customer service experience
