Region Margin Manager','12004986','Regular','Full-time','IL-Chicago Metro-Rosemont','','Ensures achievement of the overall key performance indicator targets (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) associated with Margin Management and implementation of margin initiatives, internal controls and process improvements for multiple divisions.','!*!Accurate and timely delivery of the daily review and impactful division communication on margin trends and action items.
Perform various financial analysis and review of weekly margin results to identify potential margin issues.
Identify and quantify drivers of divisional margin erosion, while leveraging the ability to look across divisions for trends.
Partner with divisions and other functional areas to perform root cause analysis to proactively drive solutions for reoccurring issues through process and technology improvements.
Identify action items, create project plan, define tasks, and assign ownership. Drive organizational discipline and accountability ensuring margin opportunities are realized through effective project management.
Partner with Division Presidents, and division finance, sales, procurement, and category management to identify and drive action on margin opportunities.
Oversee all technical systems supporting margin management (Prime, Tandem, Merlin, Discover, IBM and Prism).
Act as subject matter expert on applicable processes and programs impacting margins.
Travel from 25% - 50% of the time.

Related Experience: 5 years in finance management and/or financial analysis required; experience in contract administration, pricing, and category management. Experience in a foodservice/distribution environment preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to effectively interact with cross-functional groups in multiple geographic locations. Strong attention to detail. Must be familiar with mainframe systems, specifically cost/price components, strong Microsoft office skills. Strong analytical and communication skills. Proficiency in use of US Foods systems is preferred.
