Steak ‘n Shake is currently expanding in the Atlanta market with our newest location in Woodstock opening in July of 2005. We are currently seeking a select number of candidates for our Manager in Training program in one of our Atlanta area training stores located in Morrow, Alpharetta and Kennesaw, Georgia for placement in one of our 13 Greater Atlanta area restaurants. When coming on board with **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., the development process starts at a manager level, where the individual will learn all the responsibilities and procedures to run a successful shift. A manager is in charge of hiring and training employees, inventory, ordering, scheduling, deposits, increasing sales, guest satisfaction, and many other duties. Once this position is perfected, a manager can advance to the Restaurant Manager level, then the General Manager level. The career path process can take a top performer as low as 4-6 months to reach the GM level and someone who needs more development 12-24 months. How quickly a manager will advance is dependent upon their performance and personal development. Our General Managers have full profit and loss responsibility for an average $2.5M restaurant, and direct leadership of 60-70 employees. General Managers are at the frontline of our business and are therefore critical to our success. Multi-unit management opportunities are also available for top performers. Comprehensive training and development programs focus on accelerating personal and professional growth. We provide an 8-week training program, which consists of hands on experience in the restaurant and classroom training. We will provide you with all the tools necessary to excel at this position, no matter what your previous employment may have been.
