The Supervisor of Retail Nutrition Services responsible for providing supervision and direction for the Food & Nutrition Department with primary responsibility focused on the retail (Café) services. Responsibilities also extend to general supervision of all other areas of the department. This position assures that staff is providing customer-focused, efficient and effective daily operations. Work situations are a variety of routine and non-routine requiring the use of discretion and good judgment in decision-making, leadership, independence, and strong organizational skills. Internal contacts are at all levels and require establishing rapport and developing strong working relationships. External contacts include vendors, outside agencies, and peers.
Three (3) years experience in a supervisory capacity
Three (3) years experience in food services or hospitality field
Accounting or financial experience within a food service retail environment required
Cash management experience strongly preferred
Micros cash register programming preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition or related field required
