OVERVIEW:
Accountable to recruit for contract, contract-for-hire and permanent placements as well as consulting initiatives for multiple clients with major emphasis on Chicago area, supporting full lifecycle recruiting for IT professionals, (sourcing, identifying and screening candidates, preparing resumes and coaching on skill set, negotiating rates, documenting and submitting candidates to clients); staying hands-on in the full life cycle of the recruiting process. Reports to VP of Recruiting. Pay: Base salary plus commission.
DUTIES:
• Work closely with candidates, developing candidate relationships and acting as primary contact, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, phone skills and interpersonal skills
• Provide documentation as needed per company policies following appropriate workflow processes in recruiting and submitting candidates as well as in general day-to-day confidential responsibilities
• Work with automated database (ATS) systems utilizing search engines, job boards, social networking, referrals, and direct-call techniques to source candidates
• Provide senior recruiting and advisory support in full lifecycle IT recruiting in a fast-paced environment for both staff augmentation and consulting initiatives, with ability to source, identify, screen, negotiate and submit ‘quality and qualified’ candidates in a timely manner, per client requirements.
• Employ writing abilities developing and refining resumes; as well as for job postings, and other communications.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 4 years of experience supporting full lifecycle technical recruiting.
• Requires technical skills to fully utilize search engines/job boards, ATS database (Applicant Tracking Systems), social networking skills, and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills absolutely required.
• Must be able to function successfully in a fast-paced, 48 hour deadline driven environment, to identify, qualify, negotiate and submit qualified candidates and meet deadlines.
• Ability to recruit for professional services including staff augmentation for contract / contract-for-hire with a major emphasis on Chicago area clients.
• Ability to recruit for all IT-related positions and skill sets as well as business-related positions such as Business Analysts, etc.
• Must be able to meet candidates in person at client sites in downtown Chicago, and in a 60-mile radius of Chicago.
