Food Service Shift Supervisor Jobs description

Food service shift supervisors play a vital role in the successful operation of food services in restaurants. Working under the leadership of the General Manager, Food service shift supervisors become highly skilled at effective leadership and supervise the crewmembers in routine tasks in every shift. While on duty, food service shift supervisors are able to effectively run shift operations, motivate their crewmembers and are responsible for the goodwill, reputation, and financial performance of a multi-million dollar restaurant. Food service shift supervisors are fully trained to be proficient in all areas of our restaurant and its shift operations. The food service shift supervisor is responsible for shift scheduling and assigning shifts positions. He provides inspirational leadership- promotes hard work and have fun environment through respect, reward, and recognition. The food service shift supervisor is also responsible for training & development. He also oversees restaurant maintenance and the overall decorum of the restaurant.

Requirements for the position:
- Minimum of 6 months experience in restaurant or retail leadership role
- Knowledge and skills in managing store operations
- Highly Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
