He is in charge of the food operations and services in the distribution center. He sees to it that the foods are effectively distributed and that the personnel in the area are doing their duties in distributing the foods. He monitors the distribution, shipping and receiving of the food. He also evaluates and discusses to the supervisors how to improve the distribution of food and services. He also trains, hires and supervise the personnel. He supports, evaluates and delegates work and responsibilities to the workers in his area. He is also in charge of the budgetary constraints and cost reductions. He sees almost all distribution concerns and issues of his area and acts accordingly to the situations. He must have the knowledge in computers, shipping and receiving, inventories, record keeping and other related duties.
